Project Scope ~

Grotesque ~ A Gothic Epic, is an expansive literary work in three distinct volumes. Volume I ~ Resurrection, is now (nearly) available in 20 chapters. Volume II -Trials & Tribulations, is currently being reformated/updated and will be released on this site (GothicNovel.Org) in 2026. Volume III ~ Medieval Armageddon, will also be reformatted and available here in 2027. There are no special requests, so if you start reading chapters in a new and incomplete volume, you may have to wait for subsequent reformatted chapters to be released. This project relies on event~driven scheduling, where ETAs cannot be provided. All 3 books (Volumes) of the Grotesque Trilogy shall only be released on GothicNovel.Org (this site) and will not be available on any other site. No book prints or publishing compainies/sites are involved. Each completed chapter within the three volumes will also provide readers with a corresponding PDF download file, for offline reading, if that is preferred. The PDF downoads come wtih the explicit understanding (here so clarified, that the files and chapter copies are strictly for personal use only, and should not be redistributed for any reason). If others wish have copies, they can be downloaded from this site as well. This specific distribution methodology ensures that neither Mr. Graven, nor the global audience is restricted, either via content censorship or content availability, which oftentimes occurs when passing materials through conflicting second- and third-party entities.

Grotesque A Gothic Epic, micro~introduction: The Biblical Story of the Fall of Angels and the Nephilim, and the subsequent Great Deluge, or Flood Myth, was the greatest and oldest recorded Gothic epic tale in all of Human History. It is mentioned all throughout Scripture, and has a foundation in both the Book of Enoch, and the Book of Genesis. This work is merely a sliver of its fantastical retelling and adaptation, introducing a Nephilim~spawned outcast Eljo. or Elioud, and grotesque, named Lazarus Gogu, who survives nearly impossible headwinds to keep his faith while saving the world from a second certain destruction and Armageddon. This work falls under multiple sub~genres, including gothic grotesque and alternate history.

GothicNovel.Org and its exclusive novel: Grotesque ~ A Gothic Epic, are dedicated to E.A.P. (1809–1849) ~"Yet that terror was not fright, but a tremulous delight..."
